Its October!!

Its a good thing I'm a better mother than I am a blogger. Sheesh.


Harper will be 10 months in 10 days (on the 22nd). She's happy and healthy and a wonderful, wonderful baby. Her 9 month check-up was on the 29th of September. She weighed 22lbs 8ozs, which is the 95th percentile. She was 29.6 inches long/tall and rang in at the 100th percentile. She's got four teeth on the top and still just two on the bottom, though I think she's been working on some. She crawls very fast and loves to get away. If Jovie comes over to steal a toy, Harper holds it behind her and away from Jovie. She's picking up quickly on being a younger sister. She's still not signing (not from lack of trying on my part, though) and she's thinking about waving. She'll hold her hand up or she'll leave it down and kind of wiggle her fingers. She's a smart one though.


Jovie turned 3 earlier in September and is loving it. At her check-up she weighed 30lbs and is 38.5 inches tall. She talks CONSTANTLY. She's a very good big sister and loves Harper very much. When old ladies stop us in the store to talk to Harper, Jovie tells them, "That's MY baby." We're working on being more polite, but she's very protective of Harper. Jovie is so helpful and mostly good at minding. She's a pretty funny kid and just a very loving girl.

Our family is healthy and happy and we're so grateful for the blessings we have.
